Margaret McMillan House - Wrotham
Year 4 visit the Wide Horizons Centre at Margaret McMillan House in Wrotham. Situated within a beautiful countryside setting Margaret McMillan House offers a vast range of activities including: rock climbing, orienteering, team-building activities and survival skills. Activities are linked to the National Curriculum and that ensures to make the most of each pupil’s visit. Outdoor learning activities are specifically designed to build the attributes required to build self-esteem, such as resilience, confidence, communication skills and wellbeing.
Windmill Hill Adventure Centre - Sussex
Year 6 visit Windmill Hill Adventure Centre which provides adventure activities that are designed to motivate, build confidence and encourage development. Activities include: abseiling, The Giant Swing, raft building, Jacobs Ladder, archery and a zip wire.
All activity sessions are led by well trained, enthusiastic instructors who know exactly how to make the most of the challenges and opportunities each activity presents. There is also a lively evening entertainment programme.
