Catch Up Premium Plan

What catch-up funding is for

Following the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure of schools, the government issued an amount of catch-up funding to all schools to support with closing gaps in learning. The amount of funding allocated is based on pupil numbers and is paid over two financial years.

At Cardwell Primary School we are receiving £31,920.

When deciding how to allocate and spend our money we have considered our children and what strategies have worked in the past. We have also used the government recommended Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) three-tiered model to identify the best strategies and support that will enable us to achieve the most positive outcomes.
