Training to Teach at Cardwell 

We work in partnership with Goldsmiths University of London and the Halstow Cluster of Schools within the Royal Greenwich Teaching Schools Alliance (RGTSA) in order to provide training for PGCE students through the School Direct Programme.  We support their professional development by providing school-based training experiences at Cardwell for our students and others within the cluster. 

Teachers who join us as Early Year Career teachers are provided with a mentor and are enlisted in our bespoke ECT program run across our partnership. This provides opportunity for ECT’s to network and develop their practice in a safe and nurturing environment.
